Left Hand Pointers for Classical Guitarists
- Moving the left hand should be easy and conform to previous principles
- Use only as much pressure to hold down a string(s) on the guitar as neccessary
- Finger tips should land as close to the frets as possible
Example Explained
Above left, the hand is in a good position playing just behind the frets.
Above right, the thumb is shown from the back side of the neck. This allows easy access to all strings.
The thumb sometimes moves from this position but this should be a general placement for most playing.
